The validity period of the PCR test has been reduced to 48 hours for flights to Russia

Attention! All passengers flying to Russia.

According to the decree of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation No. 33 “On Amendments to the Sanitary and Epidemiological Rules”, instead of 72 hours from the time of the laboratory test result for COVID-19, it is now necessary to confirm the presence of a negative PCR test for coronavirus no earlier than 48 hours.

The primary check of the PCR results (negative result and certificate validity period) is carried out by employees at the registration desk. In the absence of a certificate valid according to the terms, with a negative result of the PCR test, the airline reserves the right to refuse the passenger in transportation.

Also, all passengers travelling to Russia needs to install the “Travel without COVID-19” mobile application in advance and check the available laboratories. The app is available for iOS and Android.
